Sermon on IT Investment by McDowell

There will be a lecture on “The Challenge of Realizing a Return on Your IT Investment” by Microsoft Corporation executive, Robert L. McDowell. The timing is scheduled as 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22 and the venue set is Bryan Building, Room 160. The entry to this sermon is completely free and open to public. In this peak of recession IT is also not at a safer zone and it does require a revitalizing push. The lecture by the famous personality McDowell would throw light on this crucial issue.

Dr. Prashant Palvia, director of the McDowell Research Center says that McDowell has immense knowledge on Information Technology management who is also an author and VP of Microsoft. The lecture by this eminent leader will converge on IT Invesment and its relationship with investors. McDowell has authored two books “Driving Digital” and “In Search of Business value: Ensuring a Return on Your Technology Investment”. He did his graduation in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute. Besides, he also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University. As reported in 1990 McDowell joined Microsoft and from then onwards he held many executive-level positions in the company. Some of the significant positions held by him are as the vice president for enterprise business relationships and vice president for worldwide services.
