Dell Announces to Walk on the Footsteps of Indian IT Companies

Dell Inc. is a leading maker of personal computers and it ranks the second position next to Hewlett-Packard. The company representatives have made it clear that it is looking forward to acquire a few smaller IT companies operating in India. It is looking for expansion because it wants to perk up its revenue scale as well as credibility of its services.

Dell is a smart player in the field of personal computers which can be witnessed by its potential to create 60% of its revenues by selling personal computers only. Next to this strong market reputation, it has also flagged its success in providing a back up business for corporate PC users. Presently it is making plans to multiply its service business by creeping into managing companies’ computer networks.

The president of Dell’s large enterprise operations Steve Schuckenbrock says that the kind of route chosen by it completely differs from rivals IBM and HP. It will mainly assist firms in minimizing their costs and free them from getting into long-term consultancy and software contracts. Dell owns $10 billion in cash and also it has a granary of short-term investments. In addition, it was also stated by Schuckenbrock that it would expand through acquisitions in an organic way.
